There is no official launch-tier list. Fell & Sell builds combine weapons and armor with dungeon altar changes and persistent furniture benefits, so the best setup depends on the current patch, biome, and whether the goal is survival, control, speed, or profit.
Build around a job
Choose a primary objective before comparing items: survive an unfamiliar biome, control groups, defeat a zone boss, collect resources, or maximize a sales-linked expedition. A build that excels at one job may waste bonuses on another.
Layer the three systems
Start with weapon behavior and armor. Add altar effects discovered during the run, then account for combat buffs granted by the shop's furniture layout. The official examples show that altars can radically change size, item handling, or combat states rather than merely add small statistics.
Value consistency
Reliable defense, readable attack timing, and a way to recover from mistakes often outperform a fragile damage showcase in a game where death erases the unbanked haul. Compare a build by successful returns, not only peak damage.
Demo hammer-lifesteal observation
One third-party demo review found a high-stun hammer paired with a flat per-hit lifesteal effect unusually strong against groups. Wide swings reportedly triggered healing for multiple enemies hit. This is a demo observation and may have been rebalanced for launch.
Test one change at a time
Use the same biome and a comparable route when testing a weapon, altar, or furniture swap. Record survivability, clear speed, damage taken, and value returned. Avoid declaring a tier from one lucky room or unusually favorable altar.
Current unknowns
Formal weapon statistics, armor formulas, furniture stacking rules, altar pools, rarity scaling, and boss resistances are not published in the confirmed sources. Build pages should remain dated and easy to revise.
Source standard
Core facts on this page come from the official Steam store and developer announcements. Demo observations are labeled when used. Exact values absent from those sources are not invented.
